The Belétage bar was honoured as the new opening of the year in the falstaff Barguide 2025. But who is actually behind the success of the mixology concept?

Meet our chef de bar: Marcus Volsa

Unconventional. Impressive. Courageous. A career characterised by passion and commitment. His drinks: Subtle compositions with artistic flavours. An emotional-rational combination of different flavour groups. With self-produced liqueurs and macerates.

29 years old. From Vienna. Carpentry apprenticeship. Master of Science. Chef de bar & head mixologist at Belétage. Also responsible for the award as New Opening of the Year 2024 in falstaff's Bar & Spirits Guide. Say what?

Le bar en automne

This season's menu is inspired by the autumnal nature around Lake Traunsee. From the mist drifting through the colourful forests. From the fresh air blowing across the lake. But especially from the autumn harvests.

The signature drinks of the season showcase typical products of the fall season in a glass and invite you to savour moments of pleasure on foggy days. Santé!

One of our new favourites, the signature drink: Porcini mushroom. Umami. Earthy.
